Julia joined Crosslink in 2024 as General Counsel. She advises on all things legal and leverages her business experience to find practical solutions for the funds and portfolio companies alike.
Experience
Julia has broad experience both as in-house and outside counsel, which informs her practical approach. She started her career at Ropes & Gray LLP, working with both private equity and venture-backed technology focused clients. She became the first General Counsel at Mashery, an API management company, and guided Mashery through its sale to Intel Corporation and subsequent spin-out to Tibco. After Mashery, she joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP in their Technology Companies Group, where she was first introduced to the Crosslink team. She has also been General Counsel at Top Tier Capital Partners, a venture-focused fund-of-funds and Pantastic, an e-commerce focused startup.
Julia lives in San Francisco with her wife ErinBlythe and their dog Emperor Norton. She is an avid reader and methodical wine taster.
